Stability, Challenge and Distinction!
Welcome
Welcome and thank you for visiting our website where we hope you will learn a little more about JenKin Support Services.
We work with the local authorities, young people and their families where possible, to achieve our main aim of providing stability at a point of transition or crisis for the young person referred to our services. We believe that every young person is unique and this is reflected in the way we promote partnership working.
Every adult working within and associated with our service are clear about their role in supporting each young person to fulfil their potential. This is irrespective of the young person’s experiences to date. Support is in the area of independency, exploring academic/employment pursuit, physical health, well-being, morally and otherwise.
We are convinced that every young person desire to have a good opportunity and experience, as such at JenKin Support Services we strive to provide this through all that we do.

LEARN MORE HEREJenKin Support Services focuses on empowering young people to develop their social, emotional, independence and functional skills, enabling them to acquire coping mechanisms for the future, and take steps towards resilience and wellbeing. We encourage our young people to foster positive relationships which will lead to growth and confidence to succeed.
From the point of referral, we work in partnership with families, carers, commissioners, stakeholders and the young person themselves to ensure the suitability of the placement, which will fully meet their requirements and provide the best level of support.
The relationship between the young people, the local authorities’ representatives, our partner agencies and ourselves is essential to the development and progress of every young person that engages with our service. These links do not come about simply by coincidence.
We provide the young people that are looked after with shared living experiences, and their own keyworker to provide support tailored to the young person’s needs. We assist young people in order to help them reach their potential through flexible and personalised key-work sessions and therapeutic support packages. We support each young person to develop life skills needed to increase their ability to secure permanent housing and to gain employment at the right time.
